Hello ALL SEASONS Bloggers,
Am excited to see some of you are looking forward to spring on the 20th, and getting in position for it in your posts! They were all lovely, inspirational and creative! A pleasure to read! of course, on the other side of the globe, are you getting ready for Fall, or ….?

If you missed my apology in my last post for not being able to comment on every blog, it was because of the interruption of Amazon Web services!

We started on the first of March with Ash Wednesday and the 11th Purim starts, and course the 17th is St Patrick’s Day. A full month of celebrations!

Heard that Illinois and Missouri were effected by tornados last week. A reminder to count our blessings if all goes well.

January is an afterglow of the holiday feasts in December and New Year’s planning, February is to settle in the new year with Valentine’s Day and some remembrance days, We can see the caroussel in the park across from where we have a cup of coffee, on the patio.
March is get to work and …. march … behind this giraffe:)

The hills on my way to and from the store are gorgeous, now it’s sprinkled with little streams.

Never was so (in a good way) distracted in the first two months of a year like this one. So much rain, more snow, the inauguration of the president. Now one of my kids moved, and another one is looking for a house (they raised the rent $500- are you kidding? ) … and on and on…

It makes me want to travel … may be to Solvang – close to Santa Barbara in Southern California -not Denmark!

Where would you like to go, if you could?
Or, what would you like to do, or visit?
Your turn to share!

The carousel makes me think of spring, but the one in our park won’t look that happy for a while. Beautiful photos!

  2. That spring looks lovely.

I love Solvang!! I splurge on pastry every morning when there. Miam! GO! 🙂

Hope you have a lovely week-end!

  3. jesh stg says:

Thanks Deborah! It’s a dangerous city, ’cause some of my face shops are there – yarn, books, Izod, and of course pastry! – for me any time of the day is good:)

  4. We should plan a week-end to meet there! He-Man used to compete in the Double Century Cyclist race there, but since his knee injury hasn’t been able to ride that far. He’s never really been a tourist there. I think he’d like it. Plus we can go on a doorscursion! 🙂

So lovely greens in your photos!
The carousel reminds me of the first of may in my childhood – after the demonstration to the Holiday of Working Class (well, I grew up in the GDR) we all were going to the fair and I liked the carousels… The big fair was always at the first of may in our little town, a highlight of our years!

By the way: I’m hosting a meme for all kinds of green (in photos or all kinds of arts), opens every friday in the morning and is living until thursday.
    It is here:

Your images definitely show that Spring is on its way. Not so obvious here – just sitting through a massive hail storm.
Here is my seasonal shot – the results of Storm Doris which blitzed parts of the UK while I was away! https://artworksfromjeshstg.wordpress.com/2017/03/05/all-seasons-marching-orders/

  9. Not sure why you can’t write my email. It is crazy4chocolate11@gmail.com. That carosel look very similar to one in stuttgart germany. have a great week!

Great pictures. Green hills look amazing. In my city spring is coming very slowly. Temperature has gone up, but there is still cold wind and rain 😦 kolobrzegcountyphoto.blogspot.com

So true that we can’t take good weather for granted! We are having high winds and snow today–a veritable blizzard right now so i am hoping I do not lose power. Thanks for hosting Seasons every week!

Hey! We’re thinking of going to Solvang when we get back to California in mid-March. We have a week to travel in the area until we start heading east back home to Toronto.

I’m enjoying a late summer here in New Zealand, although I feel that autumn is close by. Your photos are just awesome.

  21. jMo says:

I’d like to go to a lot of places, New Zealand, Ireland, Italy and Norway top the list. I’d also settle for someplace with a pristine body of water and insect control. Very pretty photos, J., I would love sitting by the carousel sipping tea or spending time by the stream.

  22. Really nice photos! I would LOVE to have that view, on my way to and from the store!

  23. Sharon says:

Those hills near you are SO green! With the stream, that’s especially lovely and peaceful. I haven’t been to Solvang for years but I’m sure you would have fun there. I went to college in Santa Barbara and it’s still one of my go-to places to relax. I feel so at home there.

  24. jesh stg says:

We used to go to San Diego for the 4th of July, but in the last years living in Southern Cal traffic became so bad on that day, we started going to Santa Barbara. Love the downtown, and they have an awesome yarn store there:)

  25. Nice set of photos! I love the carousel and that stream.

  26. Those hills look lovely. I have so many places I’d love to travel since I’ve visited so few 🙂 I have a few more trips that I’m in the beginning stages of planning, but still prepping and planning for Amsterdam and Paris next month.

  27. jesh stg says:

You can have your turn to travel when your kids have grown up:) How long are you going to Europe? Oh next month – April? Be sure to visit the Keukenhof (if it’s already open when you’re there) – the garden of tulips and other flowers (also the newest hybrids) – you will love it!

  28. I will only be in Europe a week. I think it’s 3 days in Amsterdam and 4 in Paris. I’ve heard the Keukenhof is a must see! 🙂

  29. Firasz says:

Beautiful photos that bring nice memories 🙂
