It’s kind of a resting point for me during the week (since I often prepare it on Friday late).
Since a week (Friday) ago we went from “just a sweater weather” and sunny afternoon, to “rain boots and wind” during the week, “car lights on with the fog, “as well as to “hail and snow and winter coat” since Friday – oh and the inauguration of the new president. Talking about a roller coaster:)

Such a nice day of “just a sweater” weather on extremely windy La Trobe road passing farms, streams, bridges, and a river (all of that before we come to the grocery store). I love moss!

But snow is just gorgeous – when it’s icy outside, with a coat, boots, hat and mittens. it makes one think of a warm oven, chocolate milk and cookies, a book to read, a scary movie, or traveling on the internet.
If you have seen my post “Before winter Really Sets in,” you saw the sign that was drying during the Open House, later to hang ,for my studio. This is the trunk in the park (we went to after the snow had fallen ) where hubby got it off.

Especially like that tree covered with moss. We are expecting a big blow this evening, Typically as the cold front approaches it has been very warm and summer-like but winds have shifted from south to north and it will get really cold (for south Florida) the next few days. Thanks for hosting!

Winter certainly has its own beauty but I used to get tired of it after about 3 weeks!

Love your photos, Jesh, especially the snowy log and the mossy tree. I’ve been enjoying the rain, too. It looks like clear skies, with low temperatures, starting tomorrow. So say the weather guys. We shall see.
