BRIDGING THE GAP

 

This year will bring many changes. Some easy. Other changes need a period or strategy to get us from the old and familiar, to the new.
This brought me to look for things that function as a bridge or a connection from one place to another.A transition may also connect you from one season to another (weather wise, job wise, emotionally).
With that framework in mind, you can ACE any change, when you find the thing/tool that will bridge the gap for you. (ABC Wed. -A)

 

 

From here to there
and how to get there, is at times a conundrum
That’s why I love things that serve as a bridge
Sutro Baths (Ruin) in San Francisco was a large saltwater privately owned swimming complex built in 1896. It burned down in 1966

Stairs, are an obvious  way to bring you from
the top of the hill to the bottom by the Sutro baths

That wire and pipe is bridging some “gaps” (Auburn, CA)

A door is opening and bringing us into a new room –  a symbol of bridging the gap from looking from the outside, and gaining access to the inside.

From bare and snow to little evidences of life. What a troopers.
Recently in a conversation with my son, we were talking about that some people look and act from the outside like they are strong and solid, but after some time, you discover they are covering up their fears and weakness by acting strong.

These snowdrops are the opposite. They look fragile, but they weather freezing conditions. I’d rather be this tiny snowdrop:)

Bikes bridge the distance like cars, trains, boats, and other vehicles.
Here, in Utah on vacation, we wondered why certain roads were roped off, until we saw this scene. We found ourselves in the midst in a bicycle race. Big enough to be on the Evening news.
