Have a Look!
This is the second month I am sharing a post with you of (click on Artnotes) ARTNOTES, where most of my paintings are shown. The 23 x 24 inch flowers – here the one of the (10 flowers) of Celebrity Collection.

In Santa Barbara, CA We immediately saw the arches. Then, “It looks like there’s a gate on top of the stairs. On the floor below I don’t know if that could be called a gate?” (Thurs. doors)
As in the new header – Fall has arrived – and so has the rain (Sunday)!

NO more traffic!
We considered buying a condo without an Association, across from us, in Southern CA. Nah -no -non-nein-njet-nee, Ne, still it would be the same noise of traffic all day long! Isn’t it interesting that in so many languages the word “no” starts with an N?

Weeks Favorite: Arches in Santa Barbara
I made this: purse and winter hat
Both knitted.
Just couldn’t leave the wooden handle in the store and was an inspiration to knit this purse. A velvety thick yarn with pleats, 9 x 13 inch with lining sewn in (so your pen or keys won’t get stuck). Very cute for a teen also:)
The cabled hat is 23 inch (average adult head size). Also have one in Red Tweed. If you’re interested in purchasing, write me (with a clear subject) Jeannette.coevorden1@yahoo.com

The drive from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara and Solvang is so scenic – never could get enough of it. Am fortunate to have the scenery now all the time:)

I love that door shot – nice find!
In Slovenian it starts with a N as well: ‘Ne.’ Just a bit of info. 🙂 However, I’ve heard once that in most places in the world, the words for ‘elephant’ and ‘music’ sound more or less alike, whereas Slovenians say ‘slon’ and ‘glasba’.
Loving the flower covered fence, the goose, the architecture of the building in Santa Barbara.
Hello, your art work is lovely. The arches and building are beautiful. I love the flower covered fence. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and weekend ahead!
I agree with you that a road trip to the Central coast is a feast to the senses.

Great painting! The Santa Barbara arches remind me of arches I saw in a Muslim Mosque in Spain.

Lots of great photos! I wish I could post include a photo in this comment. Several weeks ago, we parked directly in front of that awesome building with the red and white arches. We were going to the Thursday night street fair/farmer’s market on State street. I love Santa Barbara (most of it anyway).
That purse is a dream! Thanks for sharing jesh!
That door shot is my favorite. Such great details there.

I always loved the warm browns that often show up in California architectural color schemes.
You got rain! I’m envious. I was hoping some of it would reach down to us. You have me wanting to visit Santa Barbara now. Your Iris painting is beautiful as are your purse and hat.
Santa Barbara was on of the places in California we loved visiting when we were in the US, Jesh. You photos brought back some lovey memories.
Thank you for taking part in the Travel Tuesday meme, I look forward to your next contribution.
