RAINBOW LINES, SUNDAY TREE, and TEXTURE

Oil, 24 x 30 inch, Lion and Lamb © StGermain
One Word Sunday: Lines

So much of art is on an adult or abstract level. A child is normally about 9-10 years old when he/she is able to think on an abstract level. Much of what they hear about faith is on an abstract level.

Talking about the book of revelation with children is seldom done, because many adult are fighting about the sequence. A reason for painting this. There will come a time that the lion and the lamb will live peacefully together.
After I had painted this, I read a book from a child who was dead for half an hour. He went up to heaven, and described the air as a rainbow. Always get excited when things like this happen!

Thank you Deborah! There was someone in the audience I knew. What I did not know was that she had been a children’s pastor, and writes children’s stories! She came up later to me, and told her story:)
