that is what happened at Christmas

Last year when looking at some lighted houses, on a cold night in Jackson,  we saw this cute little one with white trim and a white door

What happened was …
In the beginning of my come back to painting in the 90ties
I did a small painting each Christmas, to remind myself, that my gift (and for that
matter all gifts) comes from the one  who the shepherds visited
that night in the hills of Galilee. Then they ran to Bethlehem and found the one the angels sang about : the baby Yeshua (Hebrew.  The same name in Greek is Jesus)
(ABC Wed.: Y)

Imagined that to have been a  usual winter sky during the day.
It was when everyone slept that things started happening.
