One way to make your craft grow on trees:):)
During a weekend  in Santa Barbara about 5 years ago, they had this beautiful tree in front of the yarn store “Loose Leaf”), dressed up with pieces of yarn (hope its bark won’t suffer) of several knitters. At that time I was knitting much more than now. Still haven’t decided if I like it, or it is too quirky.

I don’t know about the wool sweater made for the tree, but you’re looking very good 🙂

Thank you Joanne! Photoshop helps too, especially when one wears glasses:)

I like yarn bombing, but the piece you found in Santa Barbara seems to have a way to go!

  5. Jackie says:

You just reminded me of some yarn bambing I saw in New Zealand.

Sorry, did not see your comment until Mon late afternoon. This tree was in front of the “Loose Leaves” yarn store – I miss it (11 hours South now, from where I live). Don’t know how much you’ve heard about the fires. But now a very large fire (more than 8000 firegifhters are working on it) is burning somewhere W- from Los Angeles till just outside Santa Barbara. Didn’t know, but it seems several celebs have a property in the fire (Oprah is one of them) and people have been evacuated.

I am never sure how I feel about the trees with clothes, either. But I guess I always find them fascinating.

In case I don’t get back here, Merry Christmas!

  9. No I think knitwear is for humans to wear, bark is for trees but you are ooking lovely. Well one in your first shot for getting all 3 prompts in. I am so sorry Teresa is giving up this mine as I will miss it although I totally understand why but in the meantime Have a lovey Christmas
