MUSIC IS IN THE AIR

SCCROLL DOWN for all the memes/challenges this week

A young friend sitting on my living room floor. Jamming in her jammies (Pyamas)  – that’s what you do when you are a 3rd generation musician  – Bass guitar, regular guitar, drums (I didn’t ask further). Her grand father, and her father were band leaders. She and her dad gave us an impromptu concert at the last evening, before going back to Europe.
The guitar she’s playing comes from Spain (Tue Travel)

In awe of one of those inspirational moments, when others see how much you love your job.
Hubs worked at this home owner’s house just for a few days. He came with this hammer.

“My father gave me this as an inheritance. I have no children to give it to, so this is for you!”
The other item on this vintage telephone chair and table is a painting brush
bought in Beijing, that I will gift as an inheritance piece to one of my grand children.

Orchid – Elevated in beauty!

From the angle of the Violin, it is clear I was standing beneath this angel, so this sculpture is elevated!

Never been so many times to the computer store as in this year! It pays to have friends who are computer geeks, like we had in Southern Calif.! But in a way I don’t mind, because in the street of the computer shop are several nice doors with reflections:)
(Thurs. Doors, Weekend Reflection)

The sunset highlighted the elevated trees! Taken in the spring. Drove by here in the weekend.
It now looks drab and bare!

    Angelic, like yourself, no doubt

I like the idea of leaving things as a inheritance. I have several books that belonged to my great grandfather. I will keep those forever!

  7. Kelleyn says:

I like the computer shops front doors too! And what a cool story about the hammer! Happy Holidays!

  8. I love the story and sentiment behind the hammer. What a lovely thing to do! I also love the photo of the flower. The angel reminds me of the ornament we put atop our Christmas tree each year, although ours evidently isn’t musical, as he’s not playing an instrument. Happy Thursday, Jesh, and happy almost-Christmas. 🙂

Where is the watercolor painting of the rocks? I can’t find it as I am going through all your posts.
