Hello All Seasons Bloggers
The link this week is open on Sunday November 5 – Wednesday November 8 till 7 pm, Pacific time
Your posts are so interesting. Maybe I’m biased, but you are among the best in blog land! Am very proud of the quality and variety of posts and photos added every week – high five:)
The closer we come to the end of the year, the more feasts, events, and travel. Right now we can stay close to home – yay – but this is for you who will travel!
In this train of thought, subjects “from close to home to far away” in my images this week.
You are welcome to do some of the same, but you can do whatever fits in your season best:)
Had so many “likes” this last week I wondered if some from both Blogspot and WordPress are looking for the comment section. Keep scrolling down, because the Comment section begins where the background is navy blue!
Gotcha, Squirrely Little!
Around the house: squirrels and deer come daily, looking for any kind of nuts
In the Family: there was already a birthday party in November! The middle two of four oldest grands – when they’re “good” kids it’s easy not to pay enough attention to them! Nate just got a lead role in the high school play this year. Princess Bride is applying for nursing school.
In the distance: in traveling in November for 17 years to our kids and grand kids for Thanksgiving, we passed these (at this time of year) chocolate brown mountains
Detail of the journey: We passed these desert trees in Mid California desert, close to Joshua trees. The barbed wire says enough!
Whether you are staying home or traveling, there will be something you would like to share!
Your turn!

That’s a good mix of home and away Jesh. I like those chocolate mountains, and the hint of desert given by the trees. Just mention of Joshua trees makes me wish I was there. Have a good Sunday
The birthday boy and girl look pretty happy. I like the photos of the rugged beauty you passed along the way.
So cute squirrel (our are red)… and famous landscapes.
Enjoy november time 🙂
(for me a month with some difficult investigations – not a fun! – and laser appointments, that means, that I have stressful travels and a lot of days will be lost for these things, time will fly away)
Those brown hills cause me some concern because of the fire dangers. Would love to see Joshua Tree some day. The family photo is delightful!
That’s a mighty healthy squirrel scurrying about in your photo. 🙂 How did it get to be November?
Happy Birthday to your grands!
Love the squirrel….we were walking through the park today the squirrels were busy, busy, busy! We even saw an owl…probably because there were so many squirrels! Just wish I’d brought my camera along…but sometimes it’s nice to just walk and not have to capture anything.
Thank you Dan! Am happy to have a good relationship with these teens:) “Rugged” is the right word. Always liked rugged views, but didn’t know I would like living in it too:)
It’s warming up here in Australia. Summer is on it’s way. We took a little trip down south last week. No squirrels, but yes kangaroos!
Gotcha Mr Squirrel! Lovely grandkids, Jesh. Always wonderful to see the family doing well.
Thank you for hosting, Jesh!
Well fed wild things around your way! Lovely post… thanks for hosting.
Have a great week!
Ruby
