In Nice (France; pronunciation: Niece)
walking on our way to the Chagall museum. Not knowing terror would haunt this city later, as well as others in the last weeks. My thoughts are with the ones mourning their loved ones in Europe and the Middle East.
Most of the doors on this location – except for two – are not seen except for the balconies:)
The Chagall is a must-see. Some huge paintings, not seen in the USA

Downtown in an Italian town, the reflection of the car window (below) caught my attention. Technically two of these cars could pass each other! But one night we thought to cut short our drive, but spent an hour on this road, just to avoid hitting people! Never again:)
See all the bikes on the left? A better transportation in these narrow old streets!

Reflection in the window of the car
Mining marble in Carrera, one of the early sites of the marble, made into the sculptures of the Roman (Italian) artists you know from Da Vinci, etc. From far it looked like snow on the mountains!

Your memory box is pretty, Jesh. I have quite a large one under my bed full of mementos, my photographs are in another huge box. I suppose after having five children I’m bound to have a lot of both. 🙂
Hard to imagine two cars passing each other in that narrow alley. A white-knuckle ride! My other thought is of your shoe box of old photos and memories. Wonder if those will become a thing of the past as kids grow up in an all digital world?

Another person wondered if these photo boxes will still remain in a digital age – I think so, since people need tangible reminders of their memories:) The same with books – I love certain books – I want to touch the pages. I can’t see myself doing that with a screen:)
I remember when each of my 2 girls brought their -now hubby- home for the first time, the first thing they showed were the photo albums and boxes:)

“Am having trouble figuring it out” – My photo is a reflection of the ceiling and walls of a church.
Everything you see in the picture is a reflection. It was all reflected in a polished marble column. The dark blurry part at the bottom of the photo is my camera and my hand which were to close be in focus. Hope this helps. 🙂
So true, Jesh. You can’t beat a ‘hand’s-on’ experience. I have certain printed books I couldn’t part with, I even love the smell of them.
