What about your emotional health? Who cares if you live in a shack, a tin roof house, or a room? Or, not have an Ivy League education …an Armani or Chanel suit … none of these are requirements for happiness!

Don’t let other people’s standards determine who you are, or what you are worth!

Wonderful photos, but I can’t help loving the little house. It looks like a genuine old New Orleans shotgun house, with the rooms arranged on either side of a central hallway. It was said that a person could stand inside the front door and shoot a hole in the back door. Shotguns notwithstanding, this is still one of my favourite kinds of house.

  20. Another set of fab photos, Jesh. As usual, I’m drawn to the lovely old shack and the sheriff’s door but that dish looked delicious. I tried following the link but couldn’t get the ‘click’ to work. Are there nuts in the recipe?

  21. I LOVE the first wide photo above, by the crick. And the sheriff to lunch is not very reassuring. 😀

  22. Norm 2.0 says:

So the sheriff was out to lunch then? I hope this was only temporary 😉

  23. jesh stg says:

Thanks for letting me know Jean. Can you try the link again? It should work now. Either way, can you let me know? If it doesn’t, I’ll add the recipe to the post. No nuts, I think what you see are mushrooms. But you could: almonds fit with almost anything:)

  24. jesh stg says:

Thank you Manja! That image has been sitting in my folder for a long time, and never noticed the message till I was looking for a door:)! Now am of to look at yours!
