Your last week’s images were SO Beautiful and interesting! I LOVE the winter images, of you who already live with snow, and smile at the summer fun of others. No matter what your season is like, your contributions are loved and appreciated!

At the end of November, the pressure is on to get “everything” ready for Christmas and New Year. It looks like “everything” becomes less and less with each year, haha. Maybe a better way to say it that more irrelevant things are left off!

Our middle daughter is good in pulling off surprises. The day after Thanksgiving was her dad’s birthday. Since we had been so busy with the Open House of the studio, we had made no plans.

*Sitting with his back to the kitchen after Thanksgiving dinner, looking at the Ipad, he was so unaware, that he thought, hey why are they putting the light off? For the next moment to see this and to hear the happy birthday song:)

November is my month for gathering the Christmas wish lists of the grands. I am waaayy behind! What about you?

  1. How lovely to be able to surprise your husband (and Dad too) like that! What a wonderful photo of the snowy tree! It makes me feel cold. We haven’t had any rain over here and, as you may have heard in the news, it’s causing dreadful problems with forest fires 😦

  2. What a nice birthday surprise for you husband! Having snow makes the Christmas season seem even better, doesn’t it? I am also behind on shopping for my grandchildren. December is always a very busy, but happy month! Enjoy it!
